I have been writing and drawing now for a long time with a limited audience, always operating under the belief that I need not share my work with others in order to enjoy it. The audience was not the point of the work, but rather self-expression. I have come to suspect though that self-expression without an audience is a shouting at the wind sort of exercise, and I would be lying if I did not admit I crave some feedback. The result is here. My attempt to use the wonders of this modern age to showcase some of what I have been doing to keep my hands and brain busy for the last 35 years... I hope someone enjoys viewing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Food for Thought of a Wall Climbing Plant

Food for thought of a Wall Climbing Plant

Alabaster echoes of new anxiety

Whitewashed over fences of violation

Ivory carvings of hopes and dreams

Pearlescent in a setting sun.

Ebon eyes staring from dead dreams

Shadowed wonderings of anxiety

Charcoal wastelands within ideas

Leached out highlights of dead fashion.

I can taste your true colours

And it is brutal bruise blue

Under a rainbow of indecision

Do you wonder what is true?

Kaleidoscope memory of a time now gone

Rainbow visions never heard of in song

Incandescent imaginings lost in a fog

Khaki ambitions running in the wood

Tunes of muted neon

Fading to shades of prayer.

I am the turpentine upon canvas

We are the scissors cutting life’s magazine

Creating a mosaic of inter-personality

They are the implements of inter-invention

And you will never be worthy

Because you cannot see the palette
